Hi yall,

Another season is coming to a close. Our club got hit by a wall of water. Yet with the usual volunteers all was back in shape. My daughter is getting better at handguns. Ben Thompson made it to the World Shoots. In all ammo was plenty, no shortages, and Federal/Wally world now have a 100 rd box 9 mm under 20$.

To all those that hunt, be safe, be smart, Too many deer in MD.

Nov Match is a 4 classifier match and only one of the 4 stages has any no shoots and they are tight A zone shots. My practice today was at 30 feet with A zone split by 2 no shoots and a target angled on left.

Nice Match at MPSA Sept classifier match

Howdy finger tuners,

No mud, no rain, and lots of fun.

Photo 1. 2 strings 5 shots reload 5 shots, same on second string.
You can count.

The hardest for me was "it ain't brain surgery" had 3 head shots at 30 ' feet.

We were done in 3 hours. Home in time to see the Ravens play.

Mig had a nice run on the field course.

Good squad too.

Next match for me is York IWLA.

BTW the road has been repaired, the walls, props recovered .

Aug match, Earthquake, Floods, Sept match

Bit to catch up on:

August match, my first in 8 months went well shot about the 60% mark.
Pit 8 had the very fun Texas Star. My star did not shine today. (caught the flash)

Even with the rain, we had canopy cover and a big umbrella.

When Lee the storm came by the range is right next to cardorus creek. a 42 miles long creek. It overflowed it's banks ,worse than Agnes in 1972.
It cut 3 gullies in the roads, and left 6 inches of mud in the bays.

We were able to recover and had the Sept match on schedule. Sept match was a 4 stage pistol and 4 stage shotgun side match. On pistol I did worst then usual, but did come in 3rd on one stage.

Shotgun, my competition, Stahl had a pump that held 9 in tube, I could only hold 5. I still managed to stay close in time. he edged me out on 3 stages. I won the stage with the slugs out to 75 yards. In all another good day at the range.

Match coming up International flavor

Hello,

This Sunday I will be shooting at IWLA 67. (vid)Did a little training. One shot draw from holster with 2 no shoots only A zone open. Results (vid)

On Sunday, August 14th we will be hosting a 12 stage, 180 round +/- USPSA pistol match at York Izaak Walton in Dallastown PA. This match is a little different from our normal matches. We will trying to shoot as close to IPSC as possible. We will be following the 3 small, 2 medium, to 1 large course ratio. We are using all classic/international paper targets. We are painting our steel different colors. The courses although smaller than usual are much more technical for the most part. There are a lot of movers and no-shoots. We will also be loaded gun starts, unloaded gun starts, and mag inserted but chamber empty starts. There is strong hand only shooting, weak hand shooting, and seated shooting. There will also be 2 retreat stages.

This is however, a USPSA match and we will be using USPSA rules and divisions, except we will be allowing Production division to load 15 rounds in the magazines which is the way IPSC does it and should be fun for everyone.

Pre-registration is mandatory.

Ah, finally a break from working. My 21 year old daughter and I went to York IWLA for some shooting fun. We did some work with the 9 mm handguns. She used my Glock 17 tricked out and I brought out the Hi Point 9mm Comp. My daughter is getting better, all round will hit a 8 1/2 x 11 paper. she even started to get some groupings. Mind you she is so busy she only gets to shoot 200 rounds a year.

We also had a bit of fun with the 12 ga shotgun.
Then we went for the SKS.

Now I cold not remember if the scope was set for the 154g rounds or the 122g rounds.
At 100 yards she said I was on paper. so we adjusted the scope and no hits on paper.
funny we were using the new spotting scope. When we went to pull the target and guess what. I should have set the scope at the 5o yard.

In all a good day, nice out and nice to spend time with amanda.

Be shooting soon. It was a fine winter for skiing. The race team made the top 3% in USA. Sweet. I hope you had a nice winter.

Today a news item went around about a drug used for cancer radiation to prevent cell damage.
The USA has been working on this for a while, but I guess with the issues in Japan regarding the Nuclear plant, this came to light.

I mention this because so many think we ie USA do not make anything.
We make plenty, Planes guns, chips, high end medical devices... See we make the hard stuff and let the other countries make the boring easy stuff.

Hunters please be safe, Hunting accidents do occur

I do not hunt, for me it is easier to go to the store.

Hunters perform a valuable service for all of us. Deer herds and other animals have been thriving and their population is in over growth. Over 200 people die from deer and auto collisions. Crop destruction, and other habitat destruction needs to be kept in check.

This year most accidents have been falling from tree stands. Please use a safety harness. One accident was a muzzle loader whose ramrod upon accidental discharge, hit and killed the hunter while loading.

We need you guys and gals, not just for herd control, but passing the art of hunting down through generations. And the US government needs your taxes.

Hunting accidents and firearm accidents in general are on the decrease.

Be safe, be smart.

Sunday match, Rain went away by 9 am. Not muddy at all, guess since it is so dry.
Good Squad, only 6 shooters so no time to dilly dally.

It has been almost a years since my last match. I hope muscle memory takes over.
I am shooting Limited 10 my score there are low any way in case I mess up.
Glocak ran fine tonight indoor low light, front fiber optic is loose need to fix.

20 to 30 feet no ammo
typical A zone bad guy with a no shoot on each side.
As my mentor paul says, you have to practice the hard shots.
From surrender, one hand, regular draw.
all looking for the sight picture before trigger pull.
did two sets of 10 mins today

try and get 2 more in tomorrow.

A day of Setup for MASC Slots still avail for the weekend

I went to help set up canopies, paint steel, paint prop walls, whatever needed for the MASC match Sept 11-12 at York IWLA. Kinda like yard crashers, 15 folks for 4 hrs = 60 hrs of labor. Team is experienced and we seem to move pretty fast.

8 stages 180 rounds.

Then some fun. 1st 10 rds from the glock at 7 yards sweet, my best all day go figure cold.

Then a bit of SKS rifle, close in up to 40 feet, then out to 50 yards.

in all 100 rds 9mm and 100 rds of 7.62x39.
Glock ran flawless
SKS if you bump the mag a certain way will cause a misfire. caught myself on vid moving back at a misfire anticipating the shot.

Came back a day later and SKS ran well. take a look.

Been busy and too hot to play for me.

Long hot summer has kept me off the range, and helping friends on weekends. The auto need a Cylinder head rebuild too. Hope to get back to matches in mid september. After 10 years sometimes you need a break. I have gotten stronger. One friend has a shelving supply/install. Try turning a screw driver all day. makes the hand and arm much stronger.

Looks like ammo supplies locally have now caught up to demand. It sucks that my favorite 9mm went from 160 /1000 to 240 / 1000.

New percent at USPSA Production - C at 53.64% that is up 8% from last year. I will try real hard for "B" class (60%) by end of 2010. Just a few flaws to work on. :o)

Squad was fun , great match both pistol and rifle. Pistol 66% overall
Rifle zeroed the first stage as in I fubar.... missed a few targets (a known flaw of mine)
On the long range hit the first 5 out of six then missed kneeling and prone.

Sitting at a bench with rest and perfect breathing and all the time in the world I can hit an 8 inch plate at 100 yds. Under time pressure it sure goes down hill. Now don't get me wrong, there were some who completed this course of fire stage. I would estimate about half did not get above zero.

I did find some test data, military with 4 squads, using similar M4 types, USed a range with 25, 50, and 100 yd pop ups under time pressure, the accuracy was 30 to 40%. This is without someone firing back.

Night jitters before a match....

The whole point of competition is stress that brings out the best you have on that day.
Some sport it is body only, where my rifle/handgun match require body and a tool. in this case 2 tools. My glock runs like a champ always so confidence is high. But the SKS ran into trouble a bit and was repaired. not to A rating but you have to go with what you've got.

So tonight as I sleep I will think of the rifle running nicely, my eyes keen , my scope clear and my bullet accurate, may my breath hold at the proper time. ace those long shots and remember to aim 3 inches high close in.

Back to a final cleaning, prep the bag,,, and wait till tomorrow to play. This is my last match this season.

Pistol Rifle Match at York IWLA 76 this Sunday

The Outdoor show shooting gallery went off without a hitch. My favorite was the 44 mag autoloader Desert Eagle. Whoa .... Not as much recoil, did not sting, but better hit it on the first shot follow up takes a bit longer.

York IWLA 67 - Has the USPSA Pistol and Rifle match This sunday.
The pistol will have stages based on Nationals shot last month in Las Vegas.

The rifle will have 4 stages One with shots to 170 yards, 3 other shorter stage distance, closest target will be 10 feet. 76 total rounds. I will use my 1963 SKS and a wolf 154 grain soft point.
you will see M4, SKS, FN......etc.

Ammunition Update - Supply coming back slowly

This week I noticed my local walmart keeping stock up on ammunition, where in the past the shelves were empty and the limit was 2 boxes.

The Howard county MD firearm show this weekend a friend said there was plenty of ammo.
Gun prices were higher. Figure that since sales are way up.

Indoor ranges seem to have ample supply.

Still some mail order / internet companies are showing waits of 4 weeks.

The companies plan to catch up over the fall according to the financial reports.

And the federal govt will not be passing anything against guns anytime soon. President Obama has been spending political capital, ie. poll position. mostly on Health Care and Cap and Trade.

November 2010 House up reps and 1/3 of the senate hold elections. That will put a fork in it.

the 4 classifier stages are used to calculate a persons percentage, thus the avg being used for their classification. I am a "C" class at 48%.

The US was on an unsustainable course; revenues vs. expenditures as in 2020 – 2030 Creating Hyper-Inflation. Ah, But WE did not pay attention.

Bills passed in the 60’s/ 70’s Medicare, welfare, Titles, were designed to help people achieve equality, help those in true need, will in the end hurt not just those helped but all of us. But WE did not pay attention.

SO if we see “the end” coming then why more debt?

WHY NOT PREEMPT THE BEGINNING AGAIN?

Now do not run out and get your gun. The power is in your voice, written word, and voting. That was the gift from our founders.

Each and every one of us has a right to call our representative, or email, send a letter, or attend a phone in meeting, or town hall. Even if you have never paid taxes just be a citizen.

Rupp, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer, said, "Winchester achieved the highest level of quarterly sales and earnings in its history, reflecting the continuation of the stronger than normal demand that began in the fourth quarter of 2008. Earnings doubled in the second quarter of 2009 compared to the second quarter of 2008 driven by Winchester's commercial sales which increased 33% year-over-year. Winchester expects continued strong demand in the third quarter of 2009 with earnings comparable to the second quarter, which are well above historic levels."

Winchester second quarter 2009 sales were $140.6 million compared to $116.1 million in the second quarter of 2008, an increase of 21%. The increase reflects higher sales volumes. Commercial and domestic military sales increased during the quarter, which more than offset declines in industrial sales. Law enforcement sales were comparable year-over-year. Winchester's second quarter 2009 segment income was $19.1 million compared to $9.5 million in the second quarter of 2008. Some stages are closer, some are medium range and some are long range see pic.

Come out and watch SAT/SUN bring eye and ear protection and drive 10 mph or less on the range road.

Howdy Shooters,

Nice day, not to hot, and the sprinkles held off. It is always a blessing to see old friends.

Can you spot the 3 round plates?

This was a 6 stage Match , with 99-11 as the classifier.
One stage was lots of Steel.
Good bit of movers.

No weak hand (hurray)

Pretty happy with my results, the glock ran purrfect as always.
I did clear both classifiers, I shot 1 production , 1 lim-10

There were of course a few shots I would like a mulligan on.
Great time , good people.

Tom P. did a real nice job capturing me during a stage run.

The critique lets see:
Little slow on the two popper reaction,
good cadence on the plate
ran the gun dry - not good. a few times.
reload, hand was down get it up high

As you can see in the pic. I have paper targets, metric, and standard and two knock down poppers. total of 6 shots. 2 runs per mag.
most targets come from
AAPS - Targets Except for 1/3 size metric.

The poppers were cut from .032 aluminum, and made into a stand prototype with Duck Tape. A 16 x 6 inch runs 8$. Yields 4 poppers.

Now lets talk airsoft gun.
My Specs are 380 fps, 15 rd magazine, Taurus, semi - auto CO2 No BLOW BACK.
for 45$ not a bad start. add in 10$ for CO2 and 2000 6mm bb's. Will hit a quarter at 25 feet.
It has BAXS system to add spin to bb.

A full blow back and heavy run about 100-150$.

I can shoot outdoors or in. Real nice for transition drills and steel drills.
Since the targets are to scale. 10 feet will compare to 30 feet or more .

I take the winter off to ski race and well getting back to shooting fast takes a match or two.

and it felt that way, way too many misses, hit a no shoot also.

Wow, now our score sheet is done using a palm pilot. Takes about 10 mins to learn.
nice thing is it calcs hit rate and other stats right there. click on tip sheet above for the basics.

Bit hot, humid, and lots of bugs. Ride home through the hail, rain and wind.

I was able to train for 2.5 hrs. A vid of my lateral training in SLOW mo 1/2 speed.

Main thing I was looking for is to keep the gun high while doing the reload.

Rain is gone, Sun is out, I have ammo all is good

what I know re match sunday-

- 125 rounds, 5 Stages
- the shortest is 6 targets (goto the firearm overload website and click on Sports Psychology
there is a picture /layout and video. a little exercise for your mind). vid in blog

- the hardest stage will be the 360 degree pit, with tons of ports and many different angles.

Movement.
1 stage forward movement basic left right left and forward
the house pit will be all over
2 others lateral left to right.
1 small lat right move.

longest shot of most will be 30 to 40 feet.

The York IWLA Summer Blast is coming up. If you want to watch , just bring eye and ear protection, and water. It is located near I-83 at exit 10 in Penn. few miles to the east.

It is an awesome match with high round count. last year total rd count 85K yes 300+ shooters x rd count = 85,000+ rounds. Some of the highest ranking members of USPSA and IPSC will be there.

ECONOMY- We saw it first last year as the Lead, and copper commodity went up. My winchester 100 rd box went from 10.86$ to 19.00$. Now add in gas cost , because most ranges are 100 mile rd trip, and ouch.

You can make a difference. Call your elected officials, tell them to DRILL NOW!

It will take a bold step, You will need to push the issues with the elected officials. One reason, the value of the Dollar is half as much as two years ago. When the FED pushed rates down so goes the value of the dollar. example when oil was 70$ 2 yrs ago, US DOL 1.3 to 1 EURO.
Now oil 135$ US DOL

Other issue , It is based on the "not in my backyard"

Florida will not allow offshore drilling, Other states will not allow infrastructure (power lines)
to connect to wind farms.

I do understand the concerns for animals and the environment. Take a look at the area I live in.
The animals are thriving. Deer, Fox, etc. This area doubled in growth in 10 years.

The truth is (multiple Sources) The US has been falling in Oil Production in a downward linear trend
since tada 1973 why did it take the US so long to figure it out.

I do as much as I can to lower my resource footprint.

Now don't take my word for it, Do the research yourself.

Indoor training Sunday 1st time out in 6 mths for April 28, 2008: Hi Everyone,

Interesting day out on Sunday at Continental Arms timonium md.
I took my Glock and high Point. I wanted to get off about 150 rds.

Pictured is my best at 21 feet. which is sweet. each box is one square inch.

Hi-point had no failure to feed. not as tight of group as the glock.
I did go out to 50 feet all A zone hits IPSC target.

I tried hard to keep my head a neck correctly aligned.
I think it will help my head alignment was out 55mm and so far corrected 16mm worth.
You can see this in any side shot of me. ugh. I am sure that has an effect on accuracy since i am not locking my upper shoulder and back.

I did notice my front sight was loose. attention to detail. eh?
So after a cleaning of the slide, the screw will need some hi strength thread lock.

I am Back, page updated , new! Entry for April 11, 2008: Hi everyone,

Most clubs have started shooting matches. St Charles in Waldorf will be starting up this spring.

I finally made it to 'C' class in production. Many thanks to Paul the mentor. I will post some info this spring on my training etc.

I usually take a break shooting in the winter. I Ski race 3 to 4 months during the winter.

I am a chronic speeder, I mean was. I now go no more than 9 mph over.

Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns about the rising cost of energy and our Nation's energy policies. I appreciate hearing from you and I welcome the opportunity to respond.

Unfortunately, rising energy costs are squeezing the budgets of many American families and businesses. Because these are such difficult times for so many, it is hard to accept that the oil companies raked in $125 billion in profit last year. It is difficult to believe that if we only give these companies more tax breaks, more land to drill on, and more benefit of the doubt, they will help us reduce the price of gasoline. In my view, this is not a workable resolution.

Though there is no easy solution to the rising cost of gasoline, I have supported several bills that seek to lower out of control prices and provide some short-term relief. With my support, the House of Representatives has passed: 1) a bill directing the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to utilize its full authority to immediately curb excessive oil speculation and trading practices that have affected prices by disrupting the normal supply and demand for energy commodities; 2) legislation to reduce the amount of oil the U.S. government purchases to continue to fill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, a practice that helps create higher prices by removing 70,000 barrels of oil from the market each day; and 3) a measure authorizing legal action against certain Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) entities that intentionally limit the supply or fix the price of oil. The latter legislation would also create a Department of Justice Petroleum Industry Antitrust Task Force to examine price gouging in the sale of gasoline in the United States.

With regard to drilling on public lands, the Bureau of Land Management indicates that, in 2007, only 4,704 of the 7,561 permits issued for oil and natural gas drilling on public lands have been executed by the industry. In my view, we should not authorize drilling on additional lands until these existing 68 million acres have been explored. That is why I voted in favor of H.R. 6251, the Responsible Federal Oil and Gas Lease Act, which would force oil companies to act on existing leases or relinquish their permits to do so.

I believe it is more important than ever for America to adopt an aggressive and long term strategy to develop alternative sources of energy. Only by ending our addiction to oil will we be able to retain our competitive advantage and ensure a promising future for our children. Around the world, this generation will have to achieve a balanced approach while confronting problems such as the finite supply of fossil fuels, global warming, and many other important economic and environmental problems. I will continue to support reasonable measures that accomplish these goals.

Happy Fourth, IRAN is rattling July 01, 2008

OK geography lesson:

See the map , the strait where 50% of the oil flows through.

So as you see blocking a navigational channel by IRAN could pretty much do the world in.

Wonder if they have the guts to do it. ????

Iran may loose a war, but in the short term remember this.

They have over 100 anti ship missles, a small navy but how hard can it be to torpedo a large tanker. remember the movie Tora tora tora? The one ship that beached to the shore so as not to be sunk in the channel at pearl harbor.

I am no expert, but I would think a few tankers sunk in the channel (see the pic) could stop the flow for a while.

See everyone needs to learn history, economics, geography.
Ignorance is bliss, I now know why.

Glad I learned duck & cover in the 60's.

My daughter without trying hard was awarded 8k for college.
there is 5 billion or more every year, but you have to make the effort.

You have to have balance.
With balt and major cities run by dems for 30 + years what do we have.

grad rates at 30% from high school

Entry for August 22, 2008: Beautiful Day today. pic is a 100 yd seated sks 154 gr one nice 3 shot group upper right.
can tell I am out of practice .

Went to york IWL.

Trained on front, the basics. 20 feet tight groups
then moved to IPSC targets with no shoots. Shooting lateral , moving lateral.
practiced some head shots.

I then moved on to the SKS, have not shot is since last September 07.

Pretty much back in for groups at 50 yds. did some bench work seated to 100 yds.
Also practiced the 1/3 ipsc paper target. 20 to 65 feet.

over all not to bad today.

Entry for August 14, 2008: Hello, Fellow shooters,

I have been rehabbing a neck issue. Hence the lack of shooting.
The problem was my lack of strength, and had to be built up to perform safely and effectively.
I have been helping a friend to remodel a room. The digging of the foundation, and putting up sheet rock has done a great job getting me back in shape. I have been shooting indoors to keep the basic skills up.

I have just mailed my dues to York IWLA and will be shooting there for training.
I really miss the group that I shoot with.

Soon to have some fresh pics.

I still plan on doing an article on Psyche and how it affects your shooting.

For all of those who own a firearm, BE SAFE

ARE THEY LISTENING ??? ENERGY July 08, 2008: I hope you were able to listen to Rep Burgess (Texas) tonight as I did on Cspan. He lays out the energy issues we face. Especially in the next 5 to 7 years. I happened by this by chance.

like his quote on wind energy in Texas. all well and good but the wind dies down in the summer in the afternoon, just when you need it. He is spot on.

Electricity-
BASE ENERGY is made up of COAL, Nuclear, Natural gas
PEAK DEMAND Natural gas, Oil
Additional inputs (1%) is Bio, Solar, Wind (at the present time cannot be used for Base load)

The speculators bet on congress doing nothing.
Stop blaming, start doing.

And don't forget about natural gas which is expected to raise in price this winter.
Electricity bills going up an average of 9% (not because of OIL)

SO Drilling now will do three things:
Speculators will see the shift in policy
Obtain more at home oil especially 5 to 7 years from now
Obtain more at home Natural Gas .....

I have seen what this country can do. History is already in place. You all need to catch up on the 30 years of doing nothing. Pronto.

As for beach pollution, More beaches are closed because of human and animal waste.!!!!!

Classifier SCC October 19, 2008: Howdy,

After taking a yr off. this is my second match.
First stage moved too much. a bit slow
Settled in
Did ok except for prod classifier but then cam back with lim-10
in 'C' Class. Forgot how fun, exciting, focused this is.

Speed is fast, and takes a bit to get into. I focused on safety first.
It really is muscle memory and waiting for the shot.

I will shoot one more maybe 2 more matches then off to skiing.

Entry for October 12, 2008: Shot the match at York today.
Best is the run above.
Too many misses and too many no shoots

I shot the classifier 2 times 1st time was 84 pts 30 pts penalty Production
then under limited 10 division 89 pts 10 pts penalty

So to say the least I am rusty. and need more practice.
Happy with the steel runs today.

Its was a beautiful day and the fall colors were too.

SWEET ! Entry for September 27, 2008: sweet! a 1.949 inch group at 100 yds from the bench using my SKS.
finally a tight group.

that was earlier this week.

Sat- week to the fun shoot, but rain nixed that. Redo Sunday..

I then decided to test the scope and sks out to 200 yds with 4 inch balloons.
5 shoots 4 balloons. Sweet again. !!!

Some shots in the rain. used 7.62 x 39 Winchester white box USA
scope has performed all tests and passed. soon an article.

Where is all the ammo? I have read the 10K statements from ATK(federal, CCI, Speer, blazer), Winchester/Olin, and Remington:

Now running overtime, Rehiring laid off employees

Heck of a good day,
Last match of the season local.

Match was fun, some real hard shots. I did get the bear trap 2 hits.

thanks to JT for the 10 rounds of 9mm. I was short.

he shoots rmc, I shoot win. I intermixed the rounds in the mag and did not feel a difference.

the shotgun was outfitted with 18 1/2 inch barrel.
so the pattern will spreed a bit when you move past 20 yards.

--- what if we choose the glock.

protection - ok
food- not unless your a great shot.

how bout the SKS-
protection - ok
food- big game to med ok
no fowl

now the versatile shotgun..
- protection - you bet, considered the most lethal.
look at the pick No 1 Buck shot at 15 yds 45 feet.
OUCH!
- large and med game - slug or buck
-foul - shot
- small game - shot

Trust me pick the shotgun.

one match to go next week , then that is it till March 09

Classifier result Screw the pooch October 28, 2008

Great day at MPSA, Rain went away and the range drained well.

Classifier Paynes Pain

Barricade and port. The pic shows the barricade. there are 2 more targets between the two that are shown.

Procedure - hands/ palms at side of barricade. Start signal .
Shoot 1 shot each from 3 positions. In between each position is a required reload.

the three positions are right of barricade, left of barricade and through the port.

How did I do..screw the pooch. Under Production - 1% sucked, missed 2, not enough 'A's and too slow, 3 seconds slower than the Limited 10 run.

Under limited 10 I scored 32% ok but I missed one. could have been better.

last match for me is at York IWLA Nov 08.

The country United States of America, Was formed in the beginning to be smaller than it is today. Things we need from the fed are :
Defense
Commerce
Common Money
......
over the years
these were added
SSA
MCare/MCaid
Highways
Education
EPA
NASA
etc

Govt has shrunk except for SSA, Mc/Mc they continue to rise.

IRAQ - it's done past the mid point, so take it to the end.

550 tons of yellowcake (pre cursor to nuke dirty or real) in Iraq and a freaking nut running the country, we need bases anyway. good enough for me to invade. proactive works for me.

With so much to think about I had to narrow it down to the following reasons:

Experience - Obama - 143 day John Mc. a lot

Economy / Taxes - John small bus makes the economy so people have money to spend
Tax cuts work - Make govt work smarter, less waste and over runs in budget.

Guns - John Lets face the facts Obama is against guns, your right to defend yourself. I love it when they say let the professionals handle it. Ok the Police no offense do not practice enough.

Defense War - John he has been there
Health care - My scripts have fallen from 500$ month to 50$ in the last few years
It is not the govt's fought we are overweight. Tort reform.

Environment - John is pretty green.

Seperation of power :
The govt has 3 branches legislative (house , senate) , Legal (Supreme Court) , executive (President)

The Dems may control the house and senate next congress. If A Dem is a President it may spell more spending which we cannot afford.

what to look forward to down the road the next 4 years.
- We are the only super power with 12 aircraft Carriers- Most countries have 1 or 2. if that
- Iran will within that time frame will have a nuke and a rocket to deliver. Mr Armajinadon has said what IRAN is going to do. I bet Israel will be proactive. this could make the other two gulf wars look small in comparison.

Iraq, we will be winding down -
Afghanistan - Ramp up surge , then stability
IRAN - nasty for US and Economy especially Oil.

Do we believe that sucess cames from being given something or by working for it.?
Sure life is about genetics, lucky breaks , timing, stars aligning; this has nothing to do with the federal govovernment, it's called life and there are no guarantee.

John McCain is my pick based on these reasons.
